This RCIRRF is a great replacement remote for most DIRECTV receivers. The RCIRRF works with D10, D11, D12, R15, R16, R22, HR44 Genie, HR54 Genie, HS17 Genie 2 (or later), C41, C51, C61, C61K, C41W, C61W Genie Client (or later), or any GE, Philips, Sony, HughesNet, Mitsubishi, or RCA receivers only in IR mode. The RF mode compatible receivers are HR34 H25, H24 HR24, HR23, H23, HR20 HR22, H20, HR21, H21, R15, R16, and more. This remote is also an upgrade and replacement for several DIRECTV remotes. It replaces the RC65RX, RC66RX, RC65R, RC65RXMP, RC21, RC24, RC30 and RC64 remote controls.

Quick Tips:

  • Easily check battery strength on your remote. Hold down any button and looking for a solid green light, indicating full strength. You'll see a fast blink for medium, and a slow blink or no light indicates the batteries should be replaced.
  • The biggest cause of remote not functioning correctly is also the easiest to fix! Before trying any other troubleshooting make sure the top slider is set to the device you want to control.
  • Pro Tip: Pressing the 'DOWN ARROW' twice lets you buffer two programs at the same time
  • Press and hold 'INFO' to run a system test on your H25, H24, or older receiver
