Seller was very helpful in answering my questions to be sure this was Joey I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived and all the unexpected extras included. It works seamlessly with my Dish hopper and took just a few minutes to get connected.
Watch out for the need of a second box to get your joey to work

I have been trying for 3 days to get the Joey to work. I have called dish 3 times and talked to tech support. Finally, today they asked if I had a second box in the box the Joey came in. I did not have a second box. The tech said "OH" I will order you one, you need an access box so the Joey will be able to log into the wireless system.

The strange thing about the wireless Hopper is that after it turns on it has to reconnect to the hopper 3. It seems to reduce the output volume on one of our TV's. As far range for connecting with the Hopper I haven't had any real issues. I had to move the Access Point to be in line with our open stairway to get a better signal for one of our bedrooms. Since it's WiFi it reacts a little slow to remote commands but it's not a big deal. The best part about is it is wireless so you don't have to worry have a wall jack.
