I live in an area where there is a clear line of sight to the TV Transmission towers but Im about 53 miles away. I was concerned that this antenna would not be good enough because the specified range is smaller but it actually worked just great.I read a few websites regarding antennas and basically a few experts said if you have a good strong signal then the range doesnt matter so much. This replaced a 20 year old Radio Shack antenna that was only giving so-so DTV reception.This is in the Long Island NY area about 20miles from the NYC transmitters.Nice improvement especially on UHF and it seems well made.Its feeding 3 TVS and a DVDR/VCR with no RF amplifier.

More than I expected

Im about halfway between Denver CO and Cheyenne WY.The antenna is pointed to Denver.Half the channels I get come from Wyoming and the other half come from Denver.I installed this antenna 4 feet above roof-line with a Chromstar mast-mounted pre-amp running to 7 TVs/HTPCs.I currently get 54 channels; about a third of these have HD programming.Id considered going with a AntennaCraft Y5-
