With the Channel Master 30db amp this is the best!

At this writing the antenna is 8 feet off the ground and pointed at Huntington W.Va. I am 100 miles NE in Morgan County Ohio and high on a hill. With the channel Master 30db antenna amp, this rascal picks up channels: 3, 8, 11, 13, 15 (Parkersburg W Va), 18 (Zanesville Ohio) 20 (Athens Oh), 22 (Parkersburg), 26 (Parkersburg) 29 &30(Huntington W Va) and even 33 out of Charleston W Va. I will be able to pull in Wheeling (7) and all the Columbus Ohio channels after I mount the antenna on my rotor about 30 feet high.
Don’t order the coaxial cable does not come with a weather proof boot.

I ordered the antenna with a coaxial cable. The antenna comes with a weather proof boot. But the cable came with both ends attached so there was no way to use the weather proof boot without cutting it.

Used along with the Televes single antenna low noise amp. The closest stations available from this remote location exceed the advertised range for the antenna, but the combination of this antenna and the low noise amp give me excellent reception.

We purchased this antenna hoping to get at least one channel in the valley in the mountains far away from the broadcast towers. We are thrilled to get at least 32 channels without the booster. Waiting to add the booster to see how many more channels will come in.

Excellent all the way around. Solid signal had the best price on this HD7698 antenna. It was shipped very quickly. I was taking down an existing UHF/VHF/FM model that was installed in the mid 70's that was also a Wineguard product. I was not having any reception issues but rather the install was on top of a 50 foot tower and I could see it was starting to get loose and was wobbling. So I figured rather than to try to repair or secure nearly 50 year old hardware I should just replace it entirely. This new model pulls in a few more stations and while it is designed for UHF/VHF HI which means not for FM radio, I still connected it to my FM stereo and actually have better signal than before! BONUS!
