Pairing your remote to Set top Box
To pair the DIRECTV remote control to the STB, perform the following steps:
1. Press and HOLD Rewind and Fast Forward at the same time for 3 second until the visible LED’s starts flashing.
Clearing Pairing
Press and hold Dash and Enter at the same time for 3 seconds until the LED’s flash. The RCU will unpair from the STB.

Controller is ok. Wished that the "OK" button was raised up like on original DTV controllers. Otherwise pleased with pricing and getting it to me quickly.

I had never heard of Solid Signal, but my TV remote broke. DirecTV and Amazon were expensive so I checked Google and found this one. Shipping was a little pricey but the total was still way cheaper than Amazon with free shipping. The remote works great and I'll be sure to check Solid Signal for future needs.

Works better than expected, had a remote do an update, it stopped working my sound bar, TV and sound bar are Visio. Tried to reprogram the remote to the sound bar, said not listed. I have the same 3 TVs and sound bars. Direct TV was useless for help. I purchased this before having to get one from direct TV. Works great. We didn't update the other 2 remotes and they are still controlling both.

The RC82V works well for pairing to the AT&T Gemini as a second remote.
Multiple remotes on a single Gemini Air don't seem to work well

Bought three of these remote with the intention of pairing them to a single Gemini Air. As I added remotes the response time dropped off and the Gemini Air seemed to perform erroneous operations (like unwanted scrolling in the guide). I think the remotes are fine but the Gemini Air is not engineered to handle the multiple pairings. We're back down to just one remote and all is well again. Might add a second later on.
