Great little pocket radio
by michaelm811
Bought this as a gift for my 13 yo son about a year ago. He loves it. Takes it where ever he goes, especially when he's working. This thing is nearly indestructible. He has dropped it in our creek several times while fishing and it's still working. Can't go wrong with this one.
A really great little radio for my needs.

I purchased this radio to retire a Oregon Scientific that I had. This C.Crane pocket radio far exceeds what I had, and I have a few others. It is by far the best radio of it's kind. I monitor the weather, and like having a great little radio when the power goes out. The signal is great on FM & weather bands. I use the AM very little. It makes a great little radio for camping use. The speaker s also very good for the size of the radio. Over all I am very happy with it compared to anything similar to it that I had before. I high suggest this radio to anyone scratching their heads with questions as to the quality--it's a great radio.
cost a little more but worth the money

GOOD LITTLE RADIO
by AZ WY
It seems to get very good reception both AM and FM. Did an A/B with a larger portable radio. I have had a Sangean similar radio but did not like how it functioned. The CC I find is more user friendly and has more features. The speaker is a little tinny but no big deal. I will use it mainly for a pillow radio so it sounds fine through a pillow. Thus like the timer function. To add: Solid Signal delivered blazing fast service and fast shipping method to my door.
Broke Volume

Love this radio, but now I have no control over the volume wheel. It is stuck on loud. Wrote company but not any help, so I guess it's just the way it is.
Very nice design. Size of a pack of 100 ciggs. Radio section seems very good. Audio section is a disgrace. Even through ear buds.

This Digital radio is precise and neat. Very easy to program and access stations. I've purchased about 8 or 10 C.CRANE CCSW Pocket radios in the past,(they make great gifts) so I assumed this would be of the same standard. I hate to say it but I regret purchasing this one. The sound is way to high pitch-tinny, even through the best ear buds or phones you can find. Doesn't even have a mega base mode on it. If you can take the noise it produces, Go for it. I'm returning mine.
A surprise
by THORPE
OK well built , easy set up , I like the presets.. At First few stations received about 4 in each band FM / AM ,BUT once I attached the external Antenna = BAM a lot of Station's came in , in each Band ,Although the speaker is kind of Tinny on some stations , it's acceptable ,True Pocket Size 4 x 2 1/2 , But with a sturdy Belt Clip . I recommend this Radio ,HAPPY ME
I couldn't believe how many stations I get up here in the mountains 50 miles East of Bakersfield CA.

I am more than pleased with my C.Crane Pocket Radio. I highly recommend it. The clarity and the amount of stations far surpass any other portable radio I have ever owned. It is small enough to pack in my purse for outings and emergencies.
This is the radio if you are looking for better sensitivity.

I am totally pleased with my CC Crane pocket radio. It is exactly what I was looking for, increased sensitivity to pull in distant AM stations. Not only does it have a good front end design it has features for increasing distant reception. This radio is 10 times better than any pocket radio I have used or table model. Only the radio in my 2012 Honda can pull in the stations I want. For specifics, I am about 70 miles away from Albuquerque. Any thing can receive the 100KW KKOB radio. But now I can get the 10KW KVIA and the 1KW KDAZ stations while walking thru my yard hoeing weeds.
Awesome radio...
