C. Crane Portable AM/FM Radio with AC Adapter (CEPRO)

The Crane is an excellent radio with great reception.. We are tickled pink for finding it!

Writing a review for a product I have only owned for a few weeks may not be entirely helpful but I have used the radio everyday during the first two weeks as I work outside and I am very satisfied so far. The sound is very good. Some have said the volume is not loud enough. This is not a boom box. I think for a portable radio it is plenty loud enough.

C. Crane Radio EP-Pro: GREAT, very timely service from Solid Signal! We've had this radio for about a month now, and it replaced a 50 year old Panasonic that we've used every single day, many hours per day, but it had developed terrible static, and it cut in and out a lot. We've been looking for a relatively simple radio that retained enough control over reception and sound quality that it would make a suitable replacement, and it appears that we struck gold when we ordered the EP-Pro. This new radio is crystal clear, and the sound for news and talk just couldn't be better. The controls are highly responsive to fine tuning, so it's possible to get the sound just where you want it so that it's comfortable to listen to for long periods of time. Like the Panasonic, this radio is used for many hours each day. Will it last for at least 50 years of continual use? I suspect my wife and I won't be here to find out... but perhaps our daughter?

Just what I wanted. AM comes in really well. Doesn’t play loud but it’s not a boom box.

I bought one and was very impressed with range and how clear channels came in. So I got a second one. One for the bedroom and one for the van. The one in the van has pulled in stations from in the middle of nowhere. This radio is a keeper. One of the better radios I've owned.

The EP Pro has excellent sound quality and great for DXing . Very selective and sensitive for anyone who still understands. Rivals GE superradio...

Everything you really need to have for listening to the radio. Good quality without a lot of decorative frills.
