DIRECTV Residential HD Receiver with DVR and Remote (HR24)

I USED TO HAVE A H22 WICH STARTED TO BECOME SLOW NOW THAT I HAVE THIS (HR24) ITS A BIG DIFERENCE QUICKER TO NAVIGATE.

Very good looking Receiver and it works real well much faster than my other Dvrs ...

I am so happy with this DVR.The previous ones I had were pieces of you know what that took forever to respond...when they worked.After several replacements by DTV (with the same model of course) I knew it was time for an upgrade.I also had the Whole Home DVR service installed and its awesome!

Worth the money...

Purchase two new DirecTV DVRs model HR24 from SolidSignal.com. Read good reviews on the HR24 so I decided to upgrade my old HR20 and HR22 to the new HR24. After I received the new HR24 DVRs from SolidSignal.com and installed I was very satisfied with my decision to upgrade. Well worth the money to upgrade to the new DVRs. The speed of the HR24 is worth every dime I paid.

I also have a DirecTV HR 23. This version responds much quicker to remote commands. Dont be afraid of buying from Solid Signal. DirecTV activated the receiver without any problems. If you get an HD DVR from DirecTV you dont know which model you will get and it probably will be refurbished. The price is the same.

Fast Easy to use and has a great pitcure and sound.

The HR24 HD receiver from DirecTV is very good in my opinion.I have an HR20 and a HR21 and this machine is a lot smaller and quite a bit faster.This receiver does not ship with b band converters however so if you have an older slimline unit and its connected directly or say to a WB68 you will need to purchase the BBC modules OR upgrade to a SWM8 switch OR change out your lnb head in your sliml

Replaced aging and failing HD DVR. Was logical replacement. Working great and has all features required. Nice unit.
