ive got all components in a closet nearby to our tv...being that they are in a closet IR remotes were obviously a problem...this a was great affordable solution...!thanks

Used with DISH dual receiver on the IR channel.Works better than the DISH RF controller on other channel as far as range is concerned.Had to change switch position in base unit to get it working.

I purchased the remote extender with a healthy dose of skepticism. This is one of those occasions where I was not disappointed. It works great! I can be anywhere in the house and control my DVR/TV with ease.It works so well Im thrilled at the purchase.

This was the best Christmas gift my father in law has ever gotten in his words. We ran a second feed out of the satellite dish into my in laws bedroom. Now he can freely change channels and view the dish programming without having to go into the living room and change the channel on the receiver. This allows my mother in law to be able to watch DVDs or over the air television on the living room

Sets up easily no brainer. I had a little rf temperature gauge I used outside. It interfered with my Nextgen. Once I eliminated the interferance worked like a charm. I have ownned this system for years. I works flawlessly and can be used at great distances.I also have cordless phones and wireless internet and these do not interfere with the signal.

I have two tvs.One in the living room and one in my bedroom.I only have one satellite receiver though. I had tried other ir extenders with my Atlanta Scientific cable box with marginal results. This one works like a champ. I had originally bought it with the intentions of using it in a single room but with the uniqueness of putting the transmitter in the remote I find myself dragging the remote to every room in the house.
