I liked the way I could connect multiple devices to my antenna

Works just fine. I like it having 5 ports, it enabled me to connect a 5th TV at my workbench in the basement. Got it in only a few days after I ordered it.

I went from 4 channels to 40

Connected this to a 30 foot cable run, then split to 3 televisions. Maintains exceptional signal strength, much better than any other distribution amp I've owned.

I installed this last week and I honestly do not see much difference. My signal problem may not be helped by this. The broadcast towers are 65 miles away through the Appalachian mountains. I already had a preamp on my antenna and hoped this would clean up some of the signals that were sometimes present but too weak. I get the same amount of channels now. I am not blaming this amp. I just think that my location is particularly difficult to overcome. I use a Tablo for my main tuner. I only ran the cat 6 to the Tablo until I got this amp. Now I have restored each TV (3) of them with their own cable as the amp provides enough power for that. With the Tablo, when the internet went down so did my TV as it is IP-based. Now I can continue to watch live TV because I can tune the TV directly. That is the biggest benefit of this amp to me.
