weBoost Certified Refurbished Drive 4G-X OTR Cellular Signal Booster Kit Truck Edition (470210R)

Since 2000 I have been purchasing the wilson / weboost products for multiple applications where the performance exceeds all other products on the market. I purchased the Drive 4GX OTR around the second quarter of 2020 and installed it for working remotely as backup should the local cell towers go down. To date it has worked without issue and when I need to turn it on I am able to get the call through regardless of the cell carriers excuses. I look forward to purchasing the Drive Reach OTR to replace a older model from 2004 and look forward to its performance. There is a lot of products on the market filled with smoke and mirrors but when it comes to performance, nothing else comes close.

does it work? YES but not even close to as I was hoping.

I bought this booster to use in a camp in a remote location with no electricity. I have a large directional antenna which worked well with a bag phone, but the phone became obsolete. I connected this booster to the antenna, powered by a 12 volt battery, and it works very well with my Tracfone smart phone. Conversations are very clear. I do have the option to use it when traveling if I wish.

So far, so good. Problem we usually have is the booster stops working after about a year. This booster has been installed a couple weeks, works as expected.

Installed per directions, drove to a known area with poor reception, turned it on....zero improvement. Moved to another area with service, called support, and after 30 minutes of plugging/unplugging cables, getting in the truck, out of the truck sitting passenger or driver side, even putting the phone all the way in contact with the interior antenna I was told the unit was functioning adequately, even there was no perceivable difference on my phone's received signal strength. At least they honored their 30 day return policy.

Seriously. I bought one of these to be able to work on the road from my camper. Web meetings where I need to host and present is part of my job. This baby takes little to no service and give you the "boost". In dead spots once I turned it on- "ding, ding, ding" messages start coming through. Where I would have two bars the weboost jumped me to full bars. Get one.

While waiting on docs and it sucks when there is no network. This thing helps at least to raise 2bars of network. I am loving it. Yes it is very pricing but for truckers its worth it

Being a tech in my work life, I rate a company on their product support AFTER shelling out my money and weBoost is GREAT...beyond my expectations. I bought a cell signal booster but wrong mounting/antenna so I girded myself to wend the return/rebuy process...but LO, support replied (fast, same day) w/we can help and shipped me the pieces I needed for proper installation voila, quick, fast, anticipated my need and MET it, hassle free, for ME not company first, but my needs. WOW, support in truest sense of the word...feel it at WeBoost: that, and a great products too. My kinda company. Thx a million!

I wrk in the oil field and I'm in some pretty desolate places, so it gives me service when I need it most!!! Thx!!
