Tips for iPhone users

I purchased one for use at my PC where I change a variety of USB devices and I loved the results. I packed away three separate USB cables and reduced the clutter at my computer. I loved the cables so much, I purchased two more - one for the bedside and another for my car. I discovered two things that iPhone users need to be aware of. First, You need to insert the iPhone adapter the proper way. The factory-provided cable has contacts on both sides. The adapter in this kit only has contacts on one side. In order to charge the phone, the fingers must be towards the back of the iPhone. Second, it does not work with Apple CarPlay in my new Subaru Outback. It will charge the phone but does not connect the programs and activate the apps I like to use such as Sygic and Spotify. Is this a fatal flaw? Not in the least. The cable and adapter set is a great alternative to multiple cables.

These charging cables are great. The first thing that goes bad on any cell phone is the charging port. The magnetic charging cable eliminates that problem completely.

I love this! I carry my phone in my pocket and this thing keeps the power plug port from filling up with pocket lint. It also protects the port from the constant plugging and un-plugging that goes with the charging process. I wish I had had these for the first 2 tablets I bought as the ports on those tablets are now loose and un-reliable from the constant plugging and unplugging!
