weBoost Certified Refurbished Home MultiRoom Cellular Booster Kit (470144R)

Because my wife and I have been forced to work from home due to the Coronavirus situation, we needed our phones to work as internet hotspots. Before getting the weBoost, we could not engage in remote meetings except by landline telephone and couldn't upload big files. Our kids had trouble completing their schoolwork as well. Once we installed the signal booster, though, all of these things changed, and we have no issues with these tasks.

Originally, at our cabin that's about 5 miles from a cell tower, the signal inside ranged from no-signal to 1X. Outside it was at best a 2-bar 3G. We purchased the MultiRoom unit and installed the exterior antenna about 25 feet off of the ground on the TV antenna mast. When we hooked everything up we had solid 4G inside of the cabin. We've had multiple family members using it at the same time with their smart-phones and the speeds are great. The only caution I'd advise is to remember that the "5,000 square foot" coverage is likely based on ideal conditions. When you start putting walls in the way of the interior signal, the effective range will drop. We're able to cover all of our 600+ sq foot cabin even though the interior antenna is near one end of the cabin and there's a couple of walls in between it and the back bedroom at the other end of the cabin. So if you're picking which model to purchase, I'd say go larger than the ideal advertised estimated range. I think for a little extra money, you'll likely be happier with the end result.

This unit did not improve the cell signal in my home. I purchased a 3G unit several years ago. I was losing calls in my house. After I installed the new 4G/5G ready unit it did not improve my cell signal even with a new iPhone X unless I switched the phone back to 3G manually. I contacted weboost prior to my purchase and was not advised I may have the same problem after spending $500 + !!!

I live way out in the countryside miles from the city, I often had to go out on the front porch to make a call, and inbound calls usually went directly to voice mail. Always had 2 bars outside, 1 bar inside. Now, I have 3 bars inside. It works as expected.

I was completely impressed by Weboost starting from the first inquiry about their products. The sales staff knew A LOT about the product and answered all my questions. They were obviously well trained and more interested in solving a problem with me than logging another win in the sales column. Impressive packaging with very clear instructions to make a successful install. Can't imagine using anyone else for these type of products. Keep up the good work. Customer service and product knowledge matter!

I live in a rural area monopolized by another cell phone service, so where I live I cannot get more than a weak 3G signal. The booster helped so I can get full LTE service in my house. It's a total life saver as the satellite internet is not the best for phone service or tv streaming services.

We have a nosiness located in the rural East Tennessee foothills and have always been captive to AT&T for our hard lines , toll Free, and international lines for 22 years! As price points grew and grew for their services, the services seemed to decline as prices went up. After trying a booster from China which was returned within 24 hours we decided to try WeBoost -WOW from the minute we plugged in the power supply and everything rebooted we have 4 -5 bars with no antenna adjustment!!!! Strongly recommend this product !!!!

Great quality product. Without it, my cell service would not work at times in the Texas Hill Country.

I didn't have any signal in my house before I purchased the multi room signal booster now I have signal everywhere in my house great product.

Would give 5 stars except for the power cord assembly attachment into the power supply. Barely, connects- and seems to have some dimensional challenges in between the cord and the power supply. Cord on Pin connector OD is a bit large for the ID allowance on the power supply. It connects; but is most easily dislodged by any nearby cord movement etc. Overall- the unit performs as advertised and we can now use our cell phones from home office without fear of garbling and or disconnect.
